Bible Study: The Biblical Flood

The Biblical flood refers to Noah and the Ark. It has been proven that the ark had the most ideal construction, and capacity for the circumstances of the flood. It was meant and built to stay afloat on the surface until the flood abated. It was not meant to have any kind of motive power or to steer a course.

The Biblical flood was presented to Noah and his family because the earth was full of wickedness and bad things. God told Noah to build the ark, and once it was built, to gather two of every living animal, and enough food and supplies to last for forty days and forty nights. God chose Noah to complete such a feat because he knew that Noah and his family were the only good people left on earth.

The Purpose of the Biblical Flood
The Biblical flood was to last for forty days and forty nights. It was meant to destroy every living creature and being on earth to rid the earth of its wickedness. The world came to a catastrophic end and Noah and his family, being the only ones who believed God, survived the flood. The Biblical flood left Gods world ready for a fresh start.

It became evident that the Biblical flood destroyed everything except the actual earth itself. When the flood was gone, and the land was dry, the Lord spared only the land and nothing else. The society that had existed was destroyed by the flood of waters.
